Prayer Series – Lord Teach Us to Pray – Season I

As part of the preparation for the Jubilee Year 2025, a short Prayer Course consisting of three sessions was prepared. This course answers the call to prepare prayerfully for the Jubilee 2025 and is based on the message “Lord, teach us to pray”.

The course introduces three different methods:

• Centering Prayer
• Lectio Divina
• Franciscan Prayer

HOW TO GET STARTED
The course is designed to be run in three sessions within parishes and ideally suited to small faith sharing groups. The course is also designed to be self explanatory to allow everyone to run it without further training or assistance.
There are two booklets for the course that provide all the necessary guidance to help facilitators lead the course and participants to take part.

• The Facilitator booklet contains all the material for the course PLUS instructions for the facilitators to guide them through each session.
• The Participant booklet contains the material for people to follow the course and explore the methods.

WHEN
The course can be run any time.

SMALL FAITH SHARING GROUPS
This course is ideally suited to run in Small Faith Sharing Groups.
The PPC Portfolio coordinator for Evangelisation in parishes is encouraged to form Small Faith-Sharing group.
