PILGRIMAGES TO ST MARY’S CATHEDRAL
Very specially this year people are invited to undertake a Jubilee pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Cape Town, St Mary’s of the Flight into Egypt. This pilgrimage is an official designated jubilee event and hence comes with Jubilee plenary indulgences.
WHEN
Every Saturday from 15 February until 30 August there will be the opportunity for parishes to make a pilgrimage to our Cathedral. There are three time slots for each Saturday (09:00, 10:30 and 12:00) which can be booked online.
WHAT
Each pilgrimage will consist of a Tour of the Cathedral, Exposition, Confession, and Adoration and Benediction. And then everyone is invited to the Cathedral tea garden for light refreshments.

COMMEMORATIVE JUBILEE 2025 BOOK
There is a commemorative book on sale which make a lovely souvenir.
To commemorate Jubilee 2025, Rev. Father Robert Bissell, JCD, Administrator of the Cathedral Church of St Mary of the Flight into Egypt, conceived a new updated and expanded version of the booklet about the Cathedral which has been compiled by Kevin Beaumont. The booklet was originally created and published in 2002 by Antoinette Holtrop.
The prefatory notes are written by Cardinal Stephen Brislin and Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Henryk Jagodzinski.
