Parishioners gathered for a Taizè evening, our first event for the Jubilee Year, led by our parish priest Fr Nkululeko Qokolo with Sr Aine HC reading from scripture and Fr Dominic Griego OFM the guest speaker.
Fr Nkululeko explained the origin of Taizè and prayed the intercessory prayers.
In his reflection Fr Dominic mentioned the importance of words : they can motivate and inspire, but can also be hurtful and damaging. We must thus be mindful of the words we use.
The evening was a beautiful way to be quiet in our busy lives.
